Ingredients:
-
Pure vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (5ml)

Almond extract: 1/4 teaspoon
-
Unsalted butter: 6 tablespoons (85g), cut into pieces
-
All-purpose flour: 1 cup (125g)
-
Baking powder: 2 teaspoons (8g)
-
Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
-
Whole milk: 3/4 cup (180ml)

Ground cinnamon: Generously sprinkled on top
Equipment needed:
-
9x13-inch baking dish or 2.5-quart baking dish
-
Medium mixing bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons
-
Oven rack
Instructions:
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it on the oven rack to melt while the oven preheats.
-
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk just until combined to form a smooth batter.
-
Remove the dish from the oven once the butter has melted. Pour 1/2 of the batter over the melted butter and smooth it into an even layer.
-
Spoon the Cherry De-Lite Cherry Pie Fill over the batter, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Dollup spoon fulls of the remaining batter over the top of the pie fill.
-
Sprinkle cinnamon generously over the top of the cobbler.
-
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs.
-
Let the cobbler cool for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set.
